What is Voice?
Voice is a campaign that aims to give young people the ability to get their opinions heard within our society. It was initially founded by twelve teenagers as part of 'The Challenge' scheme, and is now directly linked to the Manchester Youth Mayor project.
The initial aims of the Voice project are outlined below:
- It is scary to think that the young people that were out on our streets conducting the riots are the future of this country. Taking this into account the Voice campaign is now working directly with the MYM (Manchester Youth Mayor) scheme.
- To give young people the ability to take part in online discussions, and share their opinions in regards to controversial issues within their constituencies.
